Türkiye Conditional e-Visa: Using Your UK, US or Schengen Visa to Get In

For many nationalities living in the UAE, Türkiye normally requires a sticker visa. But if you already hold certain Western visas, you may be able to apply online instead – through the conditional e-Visa.

How it works

Nationals of a list of countries (including many from South Asia and Africa) can get a Türkiye e-Visa only if they hold a supporting document such as:

• A valid visa from the USA, UK, a Schengen country or Ireland, or
• A valid residence permit from one of those countries

Electronic visas or e-residence permits are generally not accepted as the supporting document. Additional conditions – such as a return ticket, a hotel booking and in some cases flying with specific airlines – may apply.

Who qualifies?

The list of eligible nationalities is set by Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and can change. We check your nationality before you apply – or use our visa checker as a first step.

What to carry when you travel

• Printed or digital e-Visa
• Your passport with the valid supporting visa or residence permit
• Return ticket
• Hotel booking
• Enough funds for your stay

Important: if your supporting visa expires before you travel, your conditional e-Visa may be refused at the border. Check dates carefully.
