Turkey Visa for UAE Residents: e-Visa, Conditional e-Visa or Sticker Visa?

Türkiye is one of the easiest and most rewarding trips from the UAE – but the visa route depends entirely on your passport. There are four possibilities.
1. Visa-free
Citizens of many countries (including the UAE and several GCC states, many European countries and others) can visit Türkiye without a visa for short stays.
2. Regular e-Visa
Nationals of eligible countries apply online through Türkiye's official e-Visa system, pay the fee and receive the visa by email – often the same day.
3. Conditional e-Visa
Nationals of several countries – including many from South Asia and Africa – can get an e-Visa only if they hold a valid visa or residence permit from the US, UK, a Schengen country or Ireland. Some conditions (such as the airline you fly with or a hotel booking) may apply. See our conditional e-Visa guide.
Tip: if you have a valid UK or Schengen visa, you may be able to skip the visa centre entirely.
4. Sticker visa through the visa centre
If you don't qualify for an e-Visa, you apply for a sticker visa through the Türkiye visa application centre in the UAE, with a full document file.
Typical documents for a sticker visa
- Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your trip, with blank pages
- UAE residence visa and Emirates ID
- Application form and photos
- Bank statements for the last 3 months
- Employment letter / NOC or trade licence
- Return flight and hotel bookings
- Travel insurance

Can Indian residents of the UAE get a Turkey e-Visa?
Indian nationals may qualify for the conditional e-Visa if they hold a valid US, UK, Schengen or Irish visa or residence permit. Otherwise they apply for a sticker visa.
How quickly is a Turkey e-Visa issued?
Eligible e-Visas are often issued the same day, by email.
Do I need travel insurance for Türkiye?
It is usually required for sticker visa applications and strongly recommended for all travellers.
